FINAL Tasting at our Mount Baker Location
02/23/2011 Thursday Night 5 - 8pm FREE!

Unfortunately, we are leaving our beloved Mount Baker location and heading a few exits to the north. We will certainly miss all of our wonderful customers and furry friends and hope that you will visit us when we are settled in our new digs. To show our appreciation for the many years of good will, good friends and good times we'd like to present one final delectable tasting as our parting gift to the neighborhood ...our own red wine and a few others we thought you would enjoy. Thank you all for seven amazing years!

In the fall of 2011 we created a special blend from select Red Mountain fruit. As many of you know, Red Mountain is one of the premier growing areas in the state, combining a unique geological soil profile with an ideally sloped aspect to the summer sun that results in perfect ripening conditions and notoriously bold and intense fruit. Known for producing some of the most powerful and expressive wines in the state we were truly lucky to get our hands on some of this juice. Bottled in 100% recycled glass, this Bordeaux style blend of cabernet sauvignon, cabernet franc and merlot is a densely packed wine brimming with dark fruit flavors, lifted aromas of black cherry, cassis and pan grille with red berries and fine grained tannins accenting the lengthy finish. Aged in 100% French barrique and bottled unfined and unfiltered it retains a pure expression of Red Mountain terroir. This is wine that typically sells for $45 a bottle and up but we were able to negotiate a tremendous savings that we want to pass on to you as a final farewell for 7 great years of bringing fine wine and good vibes to the neighborhood. We're confident you will agree that this is one of the best deals you will ever run across.

*****

We're still waiting on the final label approval from the TTB but here's a preview. Bonus points if you can identify a few of our favorite wine producing regions...and you just might recognize the heart of Mount Baker in one of the panes. With a subtle nod to the 'hood, this would make a great house wine for visiting guests for years to come but we encourage you to pick up a few bottles for yourself, we think you're going to like it ;) Quantities are limited.

Cheers!
